Privacy policy

Last updated September 2026. This policy covers the One iPhone app and its backend service.

What stays on your iPhone

Your contacts, calendar events, reminders, alarms, location, and music library are read and written by the app on your device using Apple's frameworks. They are not uploaded to One's servers and are never sent to an AI model. Travel estimates and weather use Apple Maps and Apple Weather on your phone; coordinates never leave the device.

What is sent to One's servers

When the AI assistant is turned on, the text of your requests, the assistant's replies, the summaries of actions it proposed or completed, and any preferences you choose to share (such as your name, saved people, and dietary preferences) are sent to One's backend, which forwards them to OpenAI to plan the response. If you connect Gmail, One's backend reads only the messages needed to answer a request, using the access you granted; you can revoke it anytime in Google Account settings or in the app. You can turn the AI assistant off in the app; One then works with local reminder parsing only.

Accounts

Your account (email and password) is handled by Supabase Auth. One's backend keeps a per-account ledger of action records and daily usage so limits and history work. We do not sell personal data and do not use it for advertising.

Retention and deletion

Request history is stored on your iPhone and is deleted when you delete the app. Server-side action records are kept to operate the service and are deleted when your account is deleted. To delete your account and its data, email the address below from your account email.
